We were heartbroken to hear the news of Lucie's passing.We wish we could've been there for the service but work and distance wouldn't allow for it. We remeber with great fondness the first time we met - suprise! You were checking me out as a candidate to pastor the First Congregational Church in Saugerties. Lucie's warmth and friendliness helped seal the deal.

When I think of Lucy, I think of all the smiles she brought to everyone at Woodstock Harley Davidson. I will remember all of our great talks about motherhood, and her wise words of advise. I will remember all the fantastic desserts she would make for us and the chocolate lollipops (I'm sure all you WHD employees remember those :). She would brighten your day no matter what kind of mood you arrived to work in. She will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry I cannot be there to offer my condolences in person since I am in Louisiana. Some people touch your lives more than others and Lucie was one of those special people. It did not matter how sad you felt, she would make you feel better just by smiling and then lift your spirit up through the clouds. I am truly blessed to have met her and to have worked with her at Woodstock H-D. She has touched so many lives and there is not a soul who has been lucky enough to make her aquaintance that will not remember her as being such a fun, sweet & loving person. I was lucky enough to have met Lucie while working for Woodstock Harley-Davidson in 2004. She was a truly beautiful woman, full of kindness and love. She was always the first person to share happiness and pride for other people and be a supportive shoulder when needed. Not to mention the delicious cakes she would bring to work. While I knew Lucie for only a brief moment in my life, I am very happy to have known her.
