Thomas E. Mitchell of Eastern Parkway Extension, Glenerie died Wednesday, July 27, 2010 at Kingston Hospital. He was 63.
He was born in Kingston, a son of the late Patrick and Frances Smith Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell served in the Air Force. He was an automotive technician and worked for many years at Thruway Nissan and Johnson Ford.
He was a well known musician and singer with the Coming Generation in the '60's and most recently with Just Three.
Surviving are a daughter, Tina Mitchell of Saugerties; two sons, Thomas Mitchell of Port Ewen and Todd Mitchell of Saugerties; a sister, Frances Clausi of East Kingston; two brothers, Patrick Mitchell of Nebraska and Ricardo Mitchell of Connelly and his former wife, Glenna Turner. Three grandchildren, Jade Mitchell, Jake Benson and Hayden Mitchell and many nieces and nephews and his beloved German Shepherd, Jack also survive.
One brother, John Mitchell died previously.
Cremation is private. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Colman's Church in East Kingston on Wednesday, August 4th. at 5:30 PM.
